I’ve been teaching Spanish to adults since 1991. That’s a long time! Fortunately, I have not lost my sense of humor along the way—and I have learned a lot about how English speakers learn Spanish.
First, acquiring proficiency in a second language is an emotional as well as an intellectual project. You can feel safe with me.
Second, I don’t just teach Spanish as a second language: I teach Spanish for English speaking adults. It’s a comparative approach that helps students advance faster.
My Spanish classes are for adults only and I create a bespoke curriculum just for you. That’s what a la carta means! So, if you need to coach singers in Buenos Aires, chat with manufacturers in Mexico, or manage carpenters at a construction site, I’m your gal. We skip what you don’t need to know (now) and go straight to what you do.
That’s a communicative approach.
Oh, and by the way: If you need a translation (EN<>ES) or editing in either language, I’m your gal, too. Visit my other website, dpsnyder.us, for rates.
